Ruth Lea Wright

Ruth Lea Wright departed this earth on Saturday February 16, 2013 to be with her heavenly father, leaving behind sons Jerry, Lee, and Kenneth, daughters-in-law Sharon and Patti, grandchildren Katy and Thomas, sister, Betty Harris, brother-in-law Harold N. Harris, great God daughters, Brianna and Sky Welch, and nieces, nephews and friends. Ruth was preceded in death by husband Edwin, parents Willie & Verna Mae Christal, sisters Edith and Margaret.

Ruth and her twin Margaret were born January 20, 1923 in Brinkman, OK. Ruth and Edwin H. Wright were happily married from January 11, 1942 until his July 26, 1996 passing, making their home in Pasadena since 1955. Ruth and Ed were disciplined, hard working individuals, always putting their family before themselves. Being the valedictorian of her senior class, Ruth was always there to help her sons with school work, offering them advice when asked and provided an example of how to lead an unselfish life devoted to family. Ruth was a Christian that led an honest life and she will be sorely missed.
