Sandy started life with challenges.  The first time I held her she was red and blue with a cleft lip, a tumor on the back of her head and a club foot, I told her she would grow up to be  beautiful.  I of course believe she became a beautiful special person having an insight to what is important in life at a young age.  I remember trying to make her feel better about some incident by telling her, she was pretty, (or something like that).  Her reply was, "your suppose to say that your my Mother".  They way she said it I knew she was right and I learned another lesson from my daughter.  From then on I made my compliments specific to an individual, saying your dress is pretty or your hair is a beautiful  color.  She faced her challenges of braces, corsets and multiple surgeries without compliant, growing up believing that she was no different from anyone else except her back was a little crooked. The dash between 1/21/1965 to 6/30/2013 is not very long, but she laughed, loved and danced her way through it being independent and caring.  A daughter that is so loved and one I am proud of.  I wish I was able to write this sooner, had the right words to describe how special she was to us.

Ms. Iris and Mr. Bob:  thank you for sharing the beautiful photos of your angel. I pray you find peace knowing she is in God's hands.

I didn't know Sandy as an adult, but her and my sister, Lisa, were best of friends in their younger years. Sandy always had the sweetest smile and the most beautiful aura. What a heartbreaking loss it must be to you all. My prayers for strength and comfort, for faith and understanding go out to you all. May you never feel alone during this difficult time. We are truely sorry for the sudden passing of Sandy.  Such a sweet person to be around.  We all pray that you find the comfort in knowing that she is now reunited with her maker and other loved ones - living in pure joy!
