

Santos was born on May 24th, 1933, to Petra and Marcelino Castillo in Monclova, Coahuila, Mexico.
After relocating to the states at 17 years old, Santos began his journey as a hardworking man we all knew. Santos had many labors of experience which all lead to kickstarting a 30-year career as a pipefitter at Piping Technology and Products Inc.
In 1958, Santos met Olivia at Pan American dance hall in Houston, TX, where they both enjoyed dancing. In October of 1959, Santos and Olivia married in a ceremony at Garden Angel Catholic Church of Pasadena. Together they made many memories of a loving marriage of fifty-two beautiful years. Their love story was one of devotion, kindness, and unwavering support. Santos and Olivia went on to raise two children: Joe Santos and Sandra Castillo.
In addition to being a devoted husband, Santos was a dedicated father and grandfather. He instilled the values of hardworking, love, humility, respect, and humor.
In 2010, Santos retired to enjoy the fruits of his labor and spending precious time with family.
Santos had a passion for landscaping, building, and constructing homes. He built many homes and buildings throughout Pasadena including his home where he spent his last days. Most importantly Santos was known for his humor, laughter, and love. We will always remember the warmth of his smile and love for his family.
Santos was preceded in death by his wife Olivia, his parents Petra and Marcelino Castillo, his brothers, Vicente, Tomas and Fidencio Castillo, two sisters, Maria de Jesus, and Gloria Castillo.
He is survived by his daughter, Sandra and son, Joe Santos (Delores). As part of his loving legacy, he is survived by his grandchildren: Frank (Jenny), Krystle (Juan), Sabrina (Justin), Jeanette (Andrew), David, Ashley (Guadalupe), Monica (John). Great-grandchildren: Emiliano, Elijah, Elias, Juan, Katalaya, Jr, Destiny, Jonathan, Ariel, Angel, Alex, Jacob, Mylee, Penelope, Cristian, Nathaniel, Julia, Jace, Stella and Nicholas. Great-great grandchildren: Elina and Alexzander. As well as his siblings, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A visitation for Santos will be held Monday, March 11, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A celebration of life will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505. A committal service will occur Tuesday, March 12, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena, TX 77505.
