Shirley Faye Folsom

Shirley Faye Folsom, 75, of Pasadena TX passed away peacefully with her loving husband by her side on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. She was born March 14, 1939 in Alexander City, Alabama to Elton and Ruth Harris.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bobby Harris.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, George Wyatt Folsom, son George (Randy) Folsom and his wife Linda, Daughters Vickie Folsom Nicholson and Cynthia (Cindy) Moise and her husband Doug, grandchildren, Brandy Williams and her husband Chris, Bryan Nicholson and his significant other Tashia, Danielle Folsom and her significant other Luke, great grandchildren Aspyn and Maegan Williams who were the light of her life. Aspyn and Maegan brought her such amazing joy.

She was a selfless wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, caregiver and friend. Her whole life was spent taking care of others. In addition to her husband, three children, three grandchildren, two great granddaughters and extended family and friends she was MaMa to all.

MaMa was one of a kind, always thinking of others, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren who were her world. She filled her family’s life with so much joy and happiness. She was a devoted animal lover and rescued many pets. We have been so honored to love her and to be loved by her. We have so many wonderful memories to cherish until we meet again.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm and Funeral Services will be on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 2:00 pm at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
