On June 20th, 2024, the LORD welcomed Theodore Patrick Ferguson into the Kingdom of Heaven at the age of 62. Ted was a revered man whose boundless generosity touched many lives. He was born in Little Rock, Arkansas, on May 23rd, 1962. In March 1982, he met the love of his life, Veronique, and they married a few months later in August. Their relationship is 42 years strong!
Ted’s spirit was ambitious for his God, family and his love of entrepreneurship. Ted enjoyed a lengthy career spanning over 40 years in the automotive business, starting with Discount Tire Co. in 1982. His entrepreneurial heart led him to establish Auto Line of America in 1999—a business that continues to serve his beloved family and community. In his grand years, Ted traveled the world with his wife, and recently was re-baptized in the Jordan River in 2022.
Ted relished every moment with his children, Bryce, Katie, Chase and grandchildren, doing grand activities such as picking them up from school and coaching little league softball, soccer, and baseball. Ted was an active member of The Church Triumphant, and exemplified Christianity, reaching out to the young, elders, homeless, widow and orphan, providing food, and sharing his faith. No one was a stranger with Ted, ever the great Samaritan to those in need.
Ted also had a passion for tennis, playing 2-3 times a week, and enjoyed bowling with various leagues alongside his sons. He was a true “Man’s Man,” straightforward yet humorous, always encouraging and giving. His laughter and smiles were contagious! Hosting numerous BBQ or gumbo New Year’s and July 4th parties to create joy in people’s hearts. He loved life, his wife, and the family they created. Above all, he loved the LORD.
Today, we grieve the immense loss, but we take solace in knowing that Ted now rests in eternal joy. We will see you again one day, Teddy Bear Ferguson!
His departure has left a deep wound, felt acutely by his entire family and countless others who loved him within his extensive community network. Waiting for him at the gates of Heaven are his father Don Ferguson, grandparents Wayne and Louise Kelley, Uncle Jim Kelley, and incredible granddaughter Courtney Brooke.
Ted will be dearly missed by his loving wife Veronique, sons Bryce and Chase along with daughter-in-law Alexa, daughter Katie with son-in-law Travis, and his blessed grandchildren Kendall, McKenzie, Abigail, Emma, Leonardo, Rafael, Isabella, and the soon-to-be named “Theodore.” His mother Gloria, brothers Jimmy and Chuck with sister-in-law Brenda, brother-in-law Wade, and Adam, nephews Allen and Jason, niece Jennifer and many loving cousins also mourn his passing.
