Travis grew up in Pearland, Texas and was a graduate of Pearland High School. He was a member of the Sons of the Republic of Texas and a proud 6th generation Texan.
Travis is survived by his father, Garey Willbanks; mother, Sabra Haskins Willbanks; brothers, Trey Willbanks and wife Dayna, and Tyler Willbanks; nieces, Claire and Parker.
Travis was the kind of person that whenever you were around him, you wanted more. Upon arrival, you were ALWAYS greeted with a heartfelt hug and a genuine smile. He was such a unique person, with so much character, that no one can replace. He was truly one of a kind and often referred to as an "old soul". He was loved by all. The only solace we can find, at this time, is that he is with our Lord, free from the struggle and at peace. We will miss him dearly, often think of all the good times we shared with him and honor him in a way he would be proud.
