Arnulfo Soto

Arnulfo Soto, a Loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle & Friend, was referred and known as “Nufo” or “Arnie” to all of his family, friends and coworkers, and at 69 years of age, he entered into eternal rest on December 12, 2022, with his loving family by his side.

He was born on April 18, 1953, to Modesto Soto Sr and Luz Longoria Soto, in Pharr, TX. He is preceded in death by both his parents, a brother, Ricardo Soto Sr and a sister, Leticia Soto. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Blanca Estela Gonzalez Soto; 4 children, Arnulfo Soto Jr., Luz Divina Puente (Julian Jr.), Gertrude Clare Soto & George Ives Soto (Paula); 10 beautiful grandchildren, Julian Alejandro Puente, Gabriela Alejandra Vargas, Andrew Jacob Soto, Christian Diego Vargas, Avery Jade Puente, Luna Aryelle Soto, Jeremiah David Vargas, Isabella Josephine Vargas, Ives Justus Soto, and Sienna Brielle Soto. He is also survived by his younger brother, Modesto Soto Jr. (Norma) and sisters, Rosalinda Land (Mike – Deceased) and Yolanda Briones, including many nieces and nephews.

His visitation will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with a 7 pm rosary, on Friday, December 16, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A catholic funeral service will be held at 10 am on Saturday, December 17, 2022, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
