PHARR- Consuelo Gonzalez, 74, left to be with the Lord on Friday March 16, 2018 in Harlingen. Consuelo was born to Nemecio & Concepcion Villarreal on July 22, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas. She is preceded in death by; her spouses, Lucio Perez, Michael Gonzalez; grandchildren, Thomas & Jeffery Hatt; brother, Daniel Villarreal and parents, Nemecio & Concepcion Villarreal. Left to cherish her memory is her beloved husband, Jesse Gonzalez; children: Mario (Ed) Perez, Sylvia (Anthony) Holifield, Paul (Karen) Perez, Silvester (Teresa) Perez, Linda (Carl) Most and Claudia (Andrew) Barbosa. She will also be greatly missed by 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; siblings: Olga Leija, Terri Martinez, Toni Garcia, Diana Leija, Gloria Davidson, Elida Zambrano, Alex Villarreal, Joe Villarreal, Jesse Villarreal and George Villarreal. Consuelo was loved by her family very much and found great joy in helping others. Family will receive friends Thursday, March 22, 2018 and Friday, March 23, 2018 from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a prayer service at 7 pm at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral Service will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
