David Zamora

Born in Edinburg, he as a lifetime resident. David married the love of his life on January 18, 1969, at Our Perpetual Sorrow in McAllen, Alicia and together they had a beautiful family with four children. Mr. Zamora was a proud ARMY Veteran, he took proud in serving country and he continue to service in the National Guard his country with courage and honor. In his younger years, David and Alicia traveled together. He enjoyed visiting Las Vegas, Florida, Mexico, and around the country. He was a loving and caring husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. His formal and charming personality is going to be greatly missed by his family and friends.

David was preceded in death by his parents, Maria and Abel Zamora.

He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years of marriage, Alicia Zamora; his four children, Alma Delia Zamora, Marisa (David) Zamora Walmsley, David Zamora Jr., Eddie Zamora; a brother, Eleazar Zamora; a sister, Abelina Molina; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 11 pm, with a 7 pm, rosary on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. A catholic mass will be celebrated at 10 am, on Friday, March 1, 2024, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Parish in San Juan. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.

Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
