

Born in Fresno, California, she lived most of her life in the Rio Grande Valley. Esmer was a loving and caring grandmother, mother, daughter, sister, and friend. She was a proud nurse, and EMT her golden heart allowed her to serve many patience. Esmer was the first woman in the Rio Grande Valley to be under SWAT tactical emergency medical services. Esmeralda is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving children, Moises Ortega, Mario Mora, Rebecca Morales; her granddaughter, Zoe Jubilee; her parents, Arturo and Maria Ayala, Sr.; two brothers, Esequiel Bazaldua and Arturo Ayala Jr.
Visitation will be held from 4pm to 11pm, with a 7 pm prayer service on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Her christian funeral service will be at 9am on Thursday, July 20, 2023, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
Funeral services are under the direction of Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr.
