Fernanda C. Moreno

Born in Mexico, she lived in Pharr most of her life. Fernanda was a devoted Catholic and family oriented woman. She dedicated her life to her beloved family; Fernanda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother,Great-grandmother, and sister. She was a longtime member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Fernanda was an active Member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Society and former member of the Legion of Mary, Eucharistic Minister and Damas del Altar. She is going to be greatly missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edelio Moreno; her son, Omar Moreno; her parents, Virginia and Cresencio Castillo; her siblings, Roberto Castillo, Felicidad Hinojosa, and Ofelia Garcia.

Mrs. Moreno is survived by her loving children, Manuela (Jorge) Cabrera, Maria (Guadalupe) Vasquez, Elio (Rosa Anna) Moreno; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; her five siblings, Rodolfo Castillo, Catalina Saenz, Ramiro Castillo, Maria de Jesus Barrera, Oziel Castillo.

A viewing will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with a rosary at 7 pm, Thursday, December 21, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley. A catholic mass will be held at 1 pm, Friday, December 22, 2023 at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Pharr. Interment will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Garden in Pharr.
