Francisca Rocha Palacios

Francisca Rocha Palacios passed away peacefully on May 22, 2024, at the age of 77. Born on October 18, 1946, Francisca lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and cherished traditions.

A passionate and talented cook, Francisca was renowned for her homemade flour tortillas, pozole, and caldo de res that brought warmth and comfort to every meal. She embraced her role as a strict but loving mother, instilling good values in her children and guiding them with a firm yet caring hand. Francisca found immense joy in watching her children and grandchildren play sports, always cheering them on from the sidelines with pride. Her love for gardening was evident in the beautiful blooms she nurtured with her green thumb. Family gatherings often took place at Chinese buffets, where she relished spending time enjoying delicious meals with her loved ones. Francisca’s strength, wisdom, and unwavering love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a family grateful for her enduring influence and the many fond memories they shared.

Survived with deep sorrow by three children, Rudy (Ofelia Ochoa) Palacios, Beto (Benesa) Palacios, Letty (Eddie) Garcia; eight grandchildren, Anita Palacios, Andres Palacios, Luis Palacios, Leana Palacios, Lynette Palacios, Lucas Palacios, Layla Garcia, Nico Garcia; many more family and friends.

Francisca is preceded in death by her husband, Juan Rodolfo Palacios.

A viewing will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 5pm to 10pm with a eulogy service at 7pm. Services will continue Saturday, May 25, 2024 with a viewing at 9:30am followed by burial at 11am at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.
