Guadalupe was born in San Juan, Texas, to Martha Ramirez Delgado and Guadalupe Delgado Sr. He was a devoted husband, father, brother, uncle, and friend. Guadalupe found joy in life's simple pleasures—cracking open a Mountain Dew, snacking on Fritos with bean dip, and enjoying the comfort of a good western movie. A hardworking man, he spent many years as a forklift driver and was a skid steer pro. He also took pride in the occasional job behind the wheel of a truck.
At home, Guadalupe was a man who loved the outdoors and could often be found tending to his yard—cutting grass and doing yard work brought him real satisfaction. His strong work ethic and quiet strength were matched only by the love he had for his family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Maria Juana Delgado; his children, Jose Delgado, Filiberto Delgado (Jeannie), Jose Guadalupe Delgado, and Janie Delgado; and his siblings, Enedina Delgado, Juan Delgado and Adela Mora. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law Isabel Loera and a host of nieces and nephews who adored him, including Mark Delgado (Erika), Armando Delgado Jr., Cyndi Reyes, Jaime Rivera, Samantha Luchsinger (Austin), Michael Mora, and great-nephew Mark Delgado II.
Guadalupe was preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and Martha Delgado; and his siblings Eleazar Delgado, Armando Delgado, Ruben Delgado, and Carmen Gomez.
