Ismael Garza

Born on January 5, 1974 in Chicago, Illinois to Jesus and Maria Garza. Ismael was a brave and kind man who faced his physical challenges with strength and positivity, despite enduring health issues since birth.

Ismael's favorite thing to do was watch the Pittsburg Steelers play on tv. In football's offseason, he rooted for his favorite baseball team, the Chicago White Sox. He enjoyed watching action movies and spending time catching up with family at weekly barbeques.

Remaining to cherish Ismael's memory is his mother, Maria Garza; brother, Al (Esther) Garza; brother, Jesse (Betsy+) Garza; sister, Letty (Dan) Perez; niece, Devon (Jon) Scalise; niece, Rebekah Garza; nephew, Luke (Jasmine) Garza; niece, Ava Perez; niece, Jillian Garza; and nephew, Ryan Perez.

Preceding Ismael in death is his father, Jesus Maria Garza.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, on January 30, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. A Rosary will take place at the same venue on January 30, 2026, at 7:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will be conducted at St Margaret Mary Catholic Church, 122 W Hawk Ave, Pharr, TX 78577, on January 31, 2026, at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577, on January 31, 2026, at 1:00 pm.
