James Joseph was man of wisdom, warmth, and unwavering devotion to his family and faith.
James passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy built on love, humility, and a lifelong pursuit of knowledge. Born on November 15, 1951, to parents C.D. Joseph (Chackalackal, Athirampuzha) and Thresiamma Joseph ( Peringattu Thellakom) at Kuravilangadu, India. James was a man of quiet dignity, calm strength, and a deep sense of purpose. Those who knew him will remember not just his kind heart and gentle presence, but also his remarkable intellect and thoughtful spirit.
A lifelong learner and passionate thinker, James found joy in reading, documentaries, and history. He loved exploring the richness of the past and could often be found deep in a book or engrossed in a documentary, always seeking to understand the world more deeply. These quiet pursuits reflected his inner life—thoughtful, curious, and richly informed.
One of James’s greatest sources of pride was his children’s education. He believed deeply in the power of learning and made countless sacrifices to ensure his children had every opportunity to succeed. Seeing them grow, achieve, and lead lives of purpose brought him immense joy and satisfaction. His pride in their accomplishments was always quietly present but deeply felt—shared through a soft smile or a gentle word.
James also had a special love for Christmas, a season that captured his spirit perfectly—filled with family, tradition, warmth, and giving. It was a time when his heart seemed to shine even brighter.
James was the beloved husband of Dolly James, the love of his life, his life partner, and best friend. Together, they built a home filled with faith, laughter, and devotion. As a father, he was a guiding light—steadfast, nurturing, and always there with a wise word or reassuring presence. As a grandfather, he embraced the role with tenderness and joy, filling young hearts with stories, affection, and encouragement. His strong faith anchored his life, and his quiet acts of service to his church and community were reflections of his humility and compassion.
Though James is no longer with us in body, his legacy lives on—in the values he passed down, the love he gave freely, the charities he supported, and the memories he created. He taught us to live with humility, to care deeply, and to always keep learning.
James is survived by his beloved wife of 50 years, Dolly James (Mulapompalil, Adoor); his two children,Tess James (Paul Joseph, Kuzhikattu, Vazhathope),Cijo James (Litty Tomas, Ariyadenpackel, Ponkunnam); his grandchildren,Roseanne K.
