He was a loving family man, deeply committed to his children. He was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys enthusiast who passed his passion for football to his kids. Javier instilled values of strength and independence in his children. His love for practical skills was evident when he taught his only son the art of flooring and carpentry. He was an ardent soccer fan, especially when his children, Crystal and Javier Jr. were on the field. Watching and enjoying nature and the lake always helped him unwind. His teaching didn't stop with his kids, he also passed on his knowledge of fishing to his cherished grandchildren. Javier was the life of the party, always telling jokes and making everyone laugh. His music taste was diverse, enjoying genres like Tejano, Grupera, and Country music. His love for spicy food was infectious, as was his inclination for breakfast food at all hours of the day. Huevo con chorizo y tortillas de harina held a special place in his heart as his favorite dish.
Javier is survived by his four children, Crystal (Pedro) Aguilar, Laura (Arimon) Gonzalez, Javier Armando Gonzalez Jr., Yulissa (Roberto) Flores; two brothers, Mario Gonzalez and Santiago Gonzalez; fourteen grandkids; many extended family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Maria de Jesus Rodriguez Rincon.
