PHARR- Jose Flores, Jr., 78, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen. He was born on August 20, 1939 in McAllen, Texas to Jose and Francisca Flores, Sr. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jose and Francisca Flores, Sr.; sisters, Estela Flores and Marce Flores; brother, Lupe Flores. He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Gloria Flores; his children, Isabel (Hilario) Flores, Lilian Gonzalez, Lydia (Adam) Flores, Jose (Soraida), Linda Flores and Melba Flores. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Jesusa Reyna, Ramona Gutierrez and 2 brothers, Francisco and Juan Flores. Visitation will be Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 1-9 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Palm Valley Funeral Home in Pharr. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Palm Valley Funeral Home. Interment will follow to Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr. Funeral arrangements and services are entrusted to the care of Palm Valley Funeral Home of Pharr.
