He is survived by his loving wife, Enedelia Fonseca; children, Jose (Sandra) Fonseca, Mayda (Ricardo) Manriquez, Daniel Fonseca; grandchildren, Kassandra Fonseca, Joselyn Fonseca, Erika Adrian, Eric Adrian, Sophia Fonseca; siblings, Juan Manuel Fonseca, Arturo Fonseca, Artemio Fonseca, Martin Fonseca, Lupita Fonseca, Carlos Fonseca, Jose Macias, Bertha Jimenez, Enedelia Ledesma, Norma Macias and many extended family and friends.
Jose is preceded in death by his parents, Guadalupe and San Juana Fonseca; his aunt/mother Flavia Macias; uncle /father, Jose "Mingo" Macias; siblings, Irene Espinoza, Jose Espinoza, Eulalio Espinoza and Yolanda Espinoza.
A viewing for Mr. Fonseca will be held Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from 2PM - 10PM with a rosary service at 7PM. A Catholic Mass will occur Thursday, August 17, 2023 at 10AM at San Juan Diego Catholic Church in McAllen with a burial to follow at 12PM at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens.
