Juan was a loved one, a friend, and someone special. To family and friends who knew him best, Juan will be remembered as a very exceptional person. Fortunately, Juan enjoyed what he did for a living and was a proud veteran. Showing a strong work ethic, Juan worked diligently and did his best to succeed in his career as a Sergeant First Class in the United States Army in which he served loyally for 20 years until his retirement in 1997. He served in Dessert Storm and travelled to many countries and was recognized with several honors and medals. Juan enjoyed his leisure time by taking part in various hobbies. His favorite pursuits were watching the Dallas Cowboys play as he was a true blue fan. He was content to enjoy his favorite pastimes alone, but was also willing to share his interests with others especially story telling with his family and son-in-law about his career. Juan also enjoyed spending time with his pet ferrets and having a good plate of tacos. Simply stated, Juan's unique personality will be forever remembered and greatly missed as he leaves behind him a legacy of life-long friendships and many cherished memories.
