He spent over 15 years as a dedicated bus driver, a career that reflected his commitment to service and community. His work was not just a job, but a testament to his steadfast dedication and care for those he served.
Juan is survived by his wife Sylvia Villarreal, his daughters: Illianna Castillo, Alicia M. Castillo, Jenna Castillo, Kayla M. Castillo, Gabriella Villarreal, and Viviana M. Villarreal; his mother, Maria del Jesus Villarreal, and siblings Seferino Villarreal (Ada), Ercilia Lopez (Jaime), Isabel Villarreal (Bernardo), Gregoria Villarreal (+Jesus Ybarra), Gilberto Villarreal (Graciela), Isidra Gutierrez (Julio), and Griselda Wallace (Eugene), along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Zeferino Villarreal, his brothers Marco Aurelio Villarreal, Arnoldo Villarreal, and Demetrio M. Villarreal (Rocio Villarreal) and his brother-in-law Jesus Ybarra.
Juan found joy in the simple pleasures of life, such as fishing, BBQ, and spending cherished moments with his wife, whom he loved very much and his daughters. These interests were not just hobbies but were expressions of his love for life and the people he cared about.
The family invites friends and loved ones to a visitation on January 20, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm with a Prayer Service at 7:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577.
A chapel service is scheduled for January 21, 2026, at 10:00 am, followed by a burial at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens at 11:00 am.
Juan Gabriel Villarreal will be remembered as a man of great love, dedication, and warmth, leaving behind a legacy of cherished memories and deep bonds that will endure in the hearts of his family and friends.
