Kyle Wallis Hollingshead

Kyle Wallis Hollingshead was born, October 8th, 2003, in Edinburg, Texas where he lived most of his life and passed away on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023, in Sheridan, Arkansas at the age of 19yrs. old.

Kyle left us way too soon and left a forever scar in many hearts. He was full of laughs, jokes and loved to give out a big bear hug to everyone. He loved spending time with his family and cousins and friends. He was the happiest when surrounded by family. Kyle enjoyed playing video games with his cousins, brother, and friends. He would enjoy hiking and running at parks with his mother Melissa and little brother. He also loved to go swimming and bowling for pass time fun. Kyle loved to snuggle with his animals, he has a pet dog, -Pixie and his two favorite cats, -Nemo and Nigerr.

Kyle loved marvel movies, super heroes movies, loved to wear super hero shirts and love reading comics. Kyle was in the high school theater in the crew and the video game club and so enjoyed it and a high school graduate of Sharyland High School class of 2022. He worked at the Walmart of Sheridan, Arkansas for over 9 months before he quit and wanted to pursue another workforce choice. He had plans of majoring in computers, he was very talented with computers and finally decided that was the career choice he wanted to do in the future.

He is survived by his mother and stepdad: Melissa Dearth-Wells and Mark Wells; his father and stepmom: Norman and Sandy Hollingshead; his siblings, Amber Hollingshead, Nathan Hollingshead, and Michael Wells. His grandparents: maternal grandmother, Gail Dearth and paternal grandmother, Mary Snodgrass and Sylvia Wells. Godparents: Rhedorah and David O’Dell; his aunts and uncles: Michelle Dearth-Gomez and Rey Gomez, Mark and Tiffany Dearth, Jack and Jennifer Dearth-Reeves; His great -uncles, Ricki Summerlin, Robbie Hollingshead-Guercia, Mary Glenn Hollingshead, Tad and Becky Snodgrass, Carie and Jake Krumnow , Charles and Roxanne Snodgrass, Frank and Orelia Wells, Margie and Joe Garcia, De’ett and David Gonzalez, and Eric Wells. 1st cousins were like siblings to him: Maternal cousins: Tristan Gomez, Christian Gomez, Britney Gomez, Audrey Gomez, America Dearth, John Michael Dearth, Israel Dearth, Racheal Dearth, Jessica Dearth, Genesis Dearth-Reyes, Jillian Reeves, and Kaitlynn Dearth, Alex Gonzalez, Victoria Gonzalez, Francis Wells,Thomas Wells, Andrew Wells, Joseph Garcia, Jason Garcia, Aiysha Garcia, Paternal 1st counsins: Joshua Hollingshead, Kasi Sprecker, Noah Snodgrass, Delilah Snodgrass, Scarlet Snodgrass, and Samson Snodgrass, Brian Guercia, Kayla Krumnow, and Carly Krumnow.

Numerous 2nd cousins and beyond and great uncles and aunts.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, John Wallis Dearth; uncle, John Dearth; paternal step-grandfather, George Wells; paternal grandfather, Norman Hollingshead Sr.; step-grandfather, Henry Snodgrass.

Visitation will be held from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. with a Christian Service at 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, September 10th, 2023, at Conway Avenue Baptist Church in Mission. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
