Maria Esther Guevara de Salazar

Born in Linares, Nuevo Leon, she was a lifetime resident of Pharr. She was a loving and caring, wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. Maria has a devoted christian with a very strong faith in God. She was a strong woman, hard worker, and family oriented. Her unique personality and her beautiful smile is going to live forever in the hearts of her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by loving husband, Antonio Salazar Jr.

Maria is survived by her daughter, Daphne (Omar Garza) Salazar; her three grandchildren, Omar Antonio Garza, Anisha Jade Garza, Marcus Jeremiah Garza; four sisters, Nora H., Magda E., Elda N., Sandra A. Guevara Villarreal; six brothers, Pedro, Josue D., Jose C., Jorge E., Julio C., Benjamin N. Guevara Villarreal; numerous extended family.

Visitation will be held from 5 pm to 10 pm, with a 7 pm prayer service, on Thursday, February 16, 2023, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley en Pharr. Funeral service will take place at 10 am on Friday, February 17, 2023, at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr. Interment will continue at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr.
