Miguel Angel Pequeno

Miguel was a devoted family man, deeply committed to his loved ones and his faith. He was married to Alma Pequeno for over 50 years, a testament to his enduring love and dedication. His family was central to his life, and he cherished the time spent with them.

Miguel was predeceased by his daughter, Karina Pequeno; his parents, Alvaro Pequeno and San Juana Garza; and his brother, Roberto Pequeno.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Alma Pequeno, and his daughter, Suzy Pequeno. His legacy continues through his grandchildren, Michael Garza, Phoebe Garza, Katherine Guajardo, Sebastian Guajardo, Christopher Pequeno, Iain Pequeno and Meagan Dolan.

Known for his hard work and fighting spirit, Miguel was always ready to lend a helping hand or offer advice to those in need. His contributions to his community and the lives he touched will be fondly remembered.

Visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, on February 16, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm. A Rosary will be recited at the same venue at 6:00 pm.

The Funeral Mass will take place at St John the Baptist Catholic Church, 216 W 1st St, San Juan, TX 78589, on February 17, 2026, at 11:30 am. Burial will follow at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577, at 1:00 pm.

Miguel Angel Pequeno will be deeply missed by all who knew him. His memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Miguel Ángel Pequeño, nacido el 7 de marzo de 1951 en Saltillo, México, falleció el 10 de febrero de 2026 a la edad de 74 años. Era residente de San Juan, Texas.

Miguel fue un hombre de familia devoto, profundamente comprometido con sus seres queridos y su fe. Estuvo casado con Alma Pequeño por más de 50 años, un testimonio de su amor y dedicación duraderos. Su familia era central en su vida y atesoraba el tiempo que pasaba con ellos.

Miguel fue precedido en muerte por su hija, Karina Pequeño; sus padres, Alvaro Pequeno y San Juana Garza; y su hermano, Roberto Pequeño.

La misa fúnebre se llevará a cabo en la Iglesia Católica St John the Baptist, 216 W 1st St, San Juan, TX 78589, el 17 de febrero de 2026, a las 11:30 am. El entierro seguirá en Palm Valley Memorial Gardens, 4607 N Sugar Rd, Pharr, TX 78577, a la 1:00 pm.
