Mr. Raquel Flores

Raquel "Rocky" Flores, 76 went to be with the Lord on November 22, 2024, at STHS Edinburg's Hospital. He will always be remembered as a loving, caring, and supportive husband, father, and grandfather. He graduated from La Joya High School and Pan American University. He served in the US Army at which time he served two tours in Vietnam with the military police.

Rocky is preceded in death by his parents Eliboro and Elodia Flores , two brothers Eliboro Flores, Jr. and Victor Flores. Rocky is survived by his wife Linda Flores, three daughters Celeste Flores Goodwin, Iris Flores Villarreal, and Felicia Flores; three grandchildren Eden Hailey Goodwin Cardoza, Katherine Daisy Villarreal, and Luke John Villarreal; four sisters Maria "Nina" Watkins, Elia Flores, Micaela Rodriguez, and Maricela Ramos; four brothers Adrian Flores, Humberto "Bert" Flores, Elias Flores, Chris Flores, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin Sunday, December 1, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 PM at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas. Funeral service will begin Monday, December 2, 2024 at 9:30 AM at Funeraria del Angel Palm Valley in Pharr, Texas with departure at 10:15 AM to the Rio Grande Valley State Veterans Cemetery in Mission Texas with full military honors at 11:00 AM.
