

Servando Villarreal, a resident of Pharr, Texas, passed away on December 30, 2025, at the age of 69. Born on January 26, 1956, Servando was known for his hard-working nature and deep devotion to his family and community.
Raised in Alamo, TX, Servando eventually made Pharr his home. He was a graduate of Pharr San Juan Alamo (PSJA) High School and furthered his education at the University of Texas Pan American, which laid the foundation for his successful career and life.
Before retirement, Servando enjoyed spending his weekends on the golf course, relishing the sport and camaraderie it offered. In his later years, he found joy in bible studies and cherished weekly breakfasts with his brothers, strengthening family ties and creating enduring memories.
Servando leaves behind two daughters, Desiree Longoria (Joshua), and Deena Villarreal. He was a devoted grandfather to six grandchildren: Anissa, Matthew, Ava, Hailey, Joshua Jr., and Olivia, who were the ultimate pride and joy of his life. His love and legacy are further carried on by his brothers, Rolando Villarreal (Amelia) and Gilberto Villarreal (Luciana) as well as various nieces and nephews.
Servando was preceded in death by his parents, Abel Villarreal and Dora Villarreal, brother, Abel Villarreal, and sister, Viola Valdez.
Interment will take place at Palm Valley Memorial Gardens in Pharr, TX, located at 4607 N Sugar Rd, on January 5, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Servando Villarreal will be remembered for his deep love for his family, his dedication to his faith, and the impact he had on those who knew him.
