Victor Hugo Garcia

Victor Hugo Garcia, born on October 2, 1970, passed away on December 16, 2025, at the age of 55. A resident of Pharr, Texas, Victor was known for his kind, funny nature and ever-present smile. He leaves behind a legacy of warmth and joy, remembered fondly as the life of the party with a big heart and a great brother.

Victor's early life was marked by his athletic prowess as a star football player in high school. He was a proud student of the PSJA Bears, graduating with the class of 1990. His career as a truck driver reflected his dedication and hard work.

In his personal life, Victor cherished his time at the family ranch in Matamoros, where he loved making BBQ and enjoying the company of family and friends. A fan of AC/DC and Harley Davidson, his interests were as vibrant as his personality.

Victor is survived by his brother, Arnulfo Garcia, and sister, Analee Platas. He was a devoted father to his daughters, Karina Garcia and Yazmeen Victoria Garcia, and a loving grandfather to his grandchildren, Amy Louise Cone and Ellie Rose Cone. He was preceded in death by his father, Arnulfo Garcia, his sister, Cristina Concepcion Garcia, and his mother, Rosa Garza.

A visitation will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Palm Valley, located at 4607 North Sugar Road, Pharr, TX 78577, on December 20, 2025, from 2:00 pm to 11:00 pm. A prayer service will also take place at the same venue on December 20, 2025, at 6:00 pm.

Victor Hugo Garcia will be dearly missed by all who knew him, leaving behind a legacy of love and laughter.
