Virginia is survived by her beloved husband, Jerry Colvin; cherished daughter Abby Colvin; father Oziel Guajardo and mother Gloria Guajardo; sister Isela Guajardo and brother Oziel Guajardo Jr..
Virginia was a beloved mother, wife, daughter and sister. To those that knew her best she was an exceptional person. Virginia was born and raised in Chicago, IL and came to the Rio Grande Valley in 1985. She had many hobbies, but her favorite pastimes included drawing and traveling especially going to Six Flags and Chicago. She was a sports fan that enjoyed watching baseball and was a devoted Chicago Cubs fan. Virginia was fortunate to love her occupation-she worked as a Pre-School teacher for over 10 years where children brought her joy and she to them. She had an amazing personality, and was generous. She always saw the best in everyone and brought out the best in everyone. Virginia was kind and giving and regularly brought beloved animals to her home to rescue. Virginia's unique charisma will forever be remembered and greatly missed.
