Carla Sue Donaldson

Carla Sue Donaldson, 50, of Phenix City, AL passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. She was born January 19, 1966 in Abbeville, AL to her late parents Betty and Frank Wills. Carla was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church and involved in the WMU and Children's Ministries. She was an avid Alabama Football fan who had a passion for her grandchildren, loved to camp and go to car shows with her husband.

The family will receive guests for visitation Wednesday, March 16, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 pm in the Crawford Room of Striffler-Hamby, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL. A Celebration of Carla's Life will be Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Lakewood Hall of Striffler-Hamby, followed by interment at Lakeview Cemetery.

Other than her parents, Carla is preceded in death by her in-laws Marcus and Velma Donaldson; sister, Pamela Wills; and grandson, Jeremy Nevels, Jr. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Billy Donaldson; brothers, Donald and Randall Wills; sister, Michelle Norris; children, Edrie (Dwayne) Cox, Mark Donaldson, Billy (Sheila) Donaldson, Jr., Haley (Jeremy) Nevels; grandchildren, Stefanie, Kayla, Alyssa, Alicia, Taylor, Alexa, Brock, Madison, Emma, Ellie, Kenzie, Eli, and Abigail; great grandchildren, Kayden, Mason, Leyna and Piper; best friend Rhonda Cauthen, nieces, nephews, other family members and many friends.
