Daniel "Danny" Guy Raines

Danny was retired from Dolly Madison. He loved hunting, fishing, arrowhead hunting, he loved nature; he loved God and was always studying the Bible. He was country all day, everyday. He enjoyed joking with people and was a dancing, laughing soul who loved sweet tea.

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Amelia Wray.

Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Malissa Raines, daughters, Heather Harrelson (Dustin), Ashley Johnson (Danny), Meagan Whitehead; siblings, Mona Meroney, David Raines, Kimberly Brown (Alan) and seven grandchildren, Kadence Harrelson, Payton Wray, Leah Wray, Emily Raines, Gunner Harrelson, Audrey Whitehead, Ayden Guenther, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

A celebration of life funeral service for Danny will be held Friday, January 20, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A visitation for family and friends following service will occur.
