Dawn Elaine Summerlin

Dawn Elaine Summerlin, 52 of Smiths Station, Alabama passed away Tuesday October 4, 2016 in Columbus, Georgia. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday October 8, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL with Rev. Dr. Michael R. Stewart officiating. A private burial will follow at Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Summerlin was born June 5, 1964 in Laon AFB, France; daughter of the late Donald Wayne Crawford and Rita C. Crawford of Dunedin, Florida. She was currently employed with the Columbus Regional Family Practice Center in Columbus, GA. She was an avid Alabama Fan, was very dedicated to her work, was a loving wife and grandmother and was loved by all who knew her.

Other than her mother, she is survived by her husband of 35 years, Henry L. Summerlin of Smiths Station, AL, daughter, Holli Elaine Guerrero of Phenix City, AL, son, Paul Dominick Summerlin and wife Billie Jean of Smiths Station, AL, grandson, Jace Bryant Summerlin, brother, Darryl Crawford and wife Jane of Lawrenceville, GA, sisters, Caroline Gomez and husband Gary of Auburn, AL, Laura Duttry and husband Mike of Clearwater, FL and her mother-in-law, Gertie Summerlin of Phenix City, AL.
