Donald "Big D" Ashby Harden Jr.

A Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Tuesday, September 10, 2024 from 2-5pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary 3770 Hwy. 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867.

Donald was born on June 16, 1954 in Phenix City, Alabama; son of the late Donald Ashby Harden, Sr. and Betty Horton. He was the owner of DAH Construction, Inc. He was regarded as one that could be trusted and held in high esteem by those in the construction industry. He was a hard worker who loved hunting, fishing, and camping with his family and friends. He loved Alabama football and most especially, he loved his dog "Little Man". He was a good man and a man of his word who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Donald Ashby Harden, Jr. is survived by his wife, Denise Harden; mother, Betty Horton; sons, Chris Harden, Heith (Veronica) Harden, Ashby (Crystal) Harden; step-son, Wayne Hodge; two sisters, Laura Schwartz and Carole (John) Bolen; two brothers, Gary (Nancy) Harden and James (Rhonda) Harden; as well as seven grandchildren and numerous other special relatives and friends.
