Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 12:30 pm at Emmanuel Baptist Church with interment to follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. Her son Rev. Alan Griffith and Rev. Marvin Minton will officiate. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends Tuesday, December 26th from 6-8 pm at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary Phenix City.
Mrs. Griffith was born February 3, 1928 in Holly Springs, Ga., daughter of Jefferson David and Lenora Clayton Keeter. She was a homemaker, and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Robert Herman Griffith.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Griffith of Horseshoe, Al., Michael “Mike” Griffith of Salem, Al and Rev. Alan Griffith of Salem, Al. Daughters, Patsy Baker of Smiths, Al. and Lisa Griggs of Phenix City. A brother, Wilburn Clayton Keeter of Phenix City, 9 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren, and 2 Great Great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews.
