Doyce Anna Bush

Mrs. Doyce Anna Bush, 88, of Franklin, Tennessee, formerly of Phenix City, Alabama, died Sunday October 23, 2011 . Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday (EDT) in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 N, Phenix City, Alabama, 36867, with the Reverend Bill Mayhew officiating. Interment will be in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bush was born February 6, 1923 in Houston County, Alabama, daughter of the late Reuben A. Kelley and Claudia Outlaw Kelley. She was co-owner and bookkeeper of North Highland Furniture Co. and a charter member of the Sunderlan Baptist Church in Phenix City, formerly Sunderlan Mission. Mrs. Bush was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. Other than her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Leo M. Bush and daughter, Jan Carroll, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Becky Bush of Franklin, TN., grandchildren, Michael Bush and wife Lydia, Lisa Elliott, Kristopher Bush, Scott Carroll, Shane Carroll and wife Barbie, great grandchildren, Elora Bush, Elisabeth Bush, Mandi McCrea and husband, Ryan, Kendall Elliott, Corey Carroll, Avery, Levi and Jake Carroll, great great grandson, Leddon McCrea, son-in-law, Dennis Carroll of Columbus, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
