A visitation for family and friends for Cecil will be held Thursday, December 15, 2022, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a celebration of Cecil's life at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, AL, 36867. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL, 36867.
For all who knew him, knew that he was a cowboy at heart. Never to be seen without his cowboy hat, Cecil had other interests as well. He took pride in his church and helped with any maintenance issues they had. He also loved his family along with eating delicious food, collecting coins, traveling, and taking caring of his dogs and cats over the years. A true gentleman, he will definitely be missed by all who loved him.
Other than his parents Cecil is proceeded in death in death by his wife, Juna L Carroll.
Survivors include, his children, Debbie (Ruble) Moore, Julie Smith, and Jerry Carroll; grandchildren, Matthew Moore, Jason Moore, Brittany Smith, and Jeremy Smith; six grandchildren; sisters, Joy Garrett and Shelby Heath.
