Helen H. Tracy

Helen H. Tracy, 86 of Phenix City, Alabama died Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 2, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby with Rev. Doug Casey and Rev. Daniel Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. Serving as pall bearers are Corey Stokes, Avery Riley, Eric Van Abel, Norman Wise, Cody Riley and Jay Temples. The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Mrs. Tracy was born November 15, 1929 in Phenix City, Alabama; daughter of the late Leonard Lamar and Adel Adams Hill. She was retired after 33 years with Fieldcrest Mill and was a member of Veterans Parkway Baptist Church in Columbus, GA. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Charles Hill and her sister, Quida Wise.

Survivors include her husband 51 years Charles E. Tracy of Phenix City, AL, two daughters, Gaynell Riley of Phenix City, AL, Sandy Foster and husband Gippy of Columbus, GA, sisters, Penny Harrison of Smiths, AL, Aunt, Clara Weaver, nephew, Norman Wise, grandchildren, Corey Stokes, Jamie Stokes, Laurie Ann Parker, Avery Riley, Kara Van Abel, Cody Riley, five great grandchildren, many other close family and friends.
