Jack Curtis Milner, 78 of Seale, AL died Wednesday, June 8, 2011 at the Columbus Hospice House. Funeral services will be held Friday, June 10, 2011 at 12:00 pm EDT in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N. Phenix City, AL Interment will follow in Lakeview Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday one hour prior to the service.
Mr. Milner was born August 2, 1932 in Columbus, Georgia, son of the late Louis Milner and Clevie Mae Downing Milner. He served in the U.S. Army and worked in construction.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Mary Smith Milner of Seale, AL, six children, William Curtis Milner, Susan Milner, Edith Rome, Mary Nagy, Jerome Milner and wife Kimberly, Jack Milner II, numerous granchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.
