

James Douglas Osborn, 82 of Phenix City, Alabama died Friday, April 15, 2016 at his home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30pm EDT Monday, April 18, 2016 in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City with Rev. Skip Speed officiating. Serving as pall bearers will be James Hayes, Will Fredrick, Dwayne McVay and Tom Wooley. Burial with military honors will follow at Fort Mitchell National Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Osborn was born August 21, 1933 in Coffee County, Alabama; son of the late Charlie and Maddie Goodson Osborn. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of the V.F.W., the Moose Lodge and was Baptist by faith. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Diane Martin Osborn.
Survivors include his son, James Osborn and wife Penny of Fort Mitchell, AL, daughters, Janet Pudil and husband, Charles of Elkins, AR, Toni Roughton of Phenix City, AL, sister, Sylvia Harrison of Phenix City, AL, brother, Charles Osborn of Montgomery, AL, six grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
