Mr. O'Neill was born May 4, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; son of the late John George O'Neill and Ruth Ilene Tubbs Pfunder.
He retired as CW3 after 22 years with the US Army. He had previously been employed with Fieldcrest Cannon and later retired with more than 10 years as a locksmith from Ft. Benning, Georgia.
Survivors include his wife of 45 years, Mary Jane O'Neill, daughters, Kelly Ann O'Neill, Stephenie Marie Jarrell and Jennifer Ilene O'Neill; grandchildren, Evan Lee Jarrell, Addeson Marie Jarrell and great grandson, Maverick Lee Jarrell. Survivors also include five brothers, Danny O'Neill, Pat Marandola, Paul Pfunder, Kurt Pfunder, Francis O'Neill, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will remember Mr. O'Neill as a loving husband, loving father and pawpaw and was a good man who would help anyone in need.
