Linda J Spikes

A visitation for family and friends for Linda will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary - Phenix City, 3770 Highway 431 North, Phenix City, Alabama 36867. A celebration of life funeral service will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM following the visitation.. An interment will occur at Lakeview Memory Gardens, 3800 Hwy 431 North, Phenix City, AL 36867.

Linda was born February 9, 1954 in Phenix City, Alabama; daughter of the late Glenn Heard Spikes and Mabel Kelly Spikes. She was retired from the Phenix City School System and was an avid football fan.

Survivors include her husband, Jay Hayward, daughter,Tiffany Halstead (Mike), grandchildren, Christopher Hayward (Alyssa), Garrett Hayward (Haley), Michael Halstead; great grandchildren, Bodhi Hayward, Caroline Hayward, Oaklynn Hayward, Lainey Hayward and her sister, Sherrill Davis (Bo), nephew, Ryan Davis (Sarah), great niece and nephew, Isaac and Eleanor Davis. She is also survived by her two special aunts, Deborah Tamor and Edna Kelly.
