SFC (Ret.) Ronald J. Oldenburg

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service with US Army Military Honors will be held at 11:00 A.M. EDT, Saturday, September 5, 2020, in Lakewood Hall at Striffler-Hamby in Phenix City, AL.

Mr. Oldenburg was born March 19, 1935, in Lacrosse, Wisconsin, son of the late Earl and Marieta Abnet Oldenburg.

He is retired from the U.S. Army after more than 20 years of service.

Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Hearn Oldenburg, and his brother, Douglas Oldenburg.

Survivors include his daughters, Angie Suggs (Robert) and Gina Oldenburg Green (Michael); sons, Robert Witt (Karen), Kerry Oldenburg (Roxanne) and Craig Oldenburg (Candy); brother, Keith Oldenburg; and sister, Cynthia Ritchie. Survivors also include his grandchildren, Ryan Oldenburg (Bethany), Cody Oldenburg, Kevin Oldenburg (Brandi), Caitlyn Oldenburg Tomblin (Kyle), Catherine Oldenburg, Angel Turner (Dalton); great-grandchildren, Chase, Jayden, Aubrie, Braylee, River, Oliver, Lily and JD.
