Teresa B. Greene

Teresa Boren Greene, 52 of Phenix City, Alabama passed away, Monday December 26, 2011 at her home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 2:00 pm EST in the chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, 3770 Hwy 431 N., Phenix City, AL with Rev. Steven Gregg officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.

Mrs. Greene was born March 13, 1959 in Albany, Georgia. She was the daughter of William L. Boren and the late Nadine Oches Boren. She graduated from Spencer High School in 1977 then attended Columbus State University and earned a license in radiology. Teresa married John W. Greene of Phenix City on June 4, 1983. She was the mother of both Lacey and Bo Greene who she loved dearly. She was employed with OB/GYN Associates in Columbus, GA with many friends she cherished and was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Phenix City.

Survivors include her husband of 28 years, John W. Greene, daughter, Lacey Greene Skinner and husband Blake, son John Boren "Bo" Greene all of Phenix City, AL, father, William L. Boren and wife June of Phenix City, AL, brothers, William M. "Billy" Boren of Phenix City, AL, Charles L. "Chuck" Boren and wife Gina of Ellerslie, GA, brother-in-law, George R. Greene of Phenix City, AL, nieces, Samantha and Sara Boren.
