Dr. Thomas Franklin Williams, Jr. went to be with the Lord on May 2, 2026 at Columbus, GA Hospice.
Private family memorial services will be at a later date.
Tom was born July 20, 1948 in Baltimore, MD. to Thomas and Sarah Frances (Riser) Williams. He enlisted in the Army as an ENT Corpsman in 1967. After he was discharged, he went to UF for his MA and then FSU where he graduated with his PhD. He opened his own private practice, Orange Park Audiology Clinic in Orange Park, FL in 2000 and retired May, 2025.
He was a faithful servant of the Lord. He attended Blanding Blvd Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL. Throughout his entire life he held an unwavering faith in God which he shared with his family, patients and friends.
Tom loved baseball and football. If you wondered where he was when a football game was playing go no farther that the living room where you will find him yelling at the screen and telling them how to play the game.
He is survived by his Mother Sarah Frances Williams, his loving friend and companion Arlene Nau; 2 daughters Carmen Williams, and Sabrina Cox; 2 grandchildren David and Autumn; 2 great grandchildren; 2 sisters Connie Hewitt and Becky Davis and her husband Dereck; 2 brothers Timothy Williams and Kenneth Williams and his wife Cindy, sister -in-law. Karen Williams (wife of late David Williams) and many other extended family, friends and patients.
Thomas was preceded in death by his father Rev. Thomas Williams, Sr. his two brothers Rob and David Williams.
