Wolfgang G. Lindh, 67, of Phenix City, Alabama, passed away on November 18, 2025. Born in Esslingen, Germany, on November 28, 1957, he became a proud American when he was naturalized in 1981 he always said, German by birth, American by choice, and deeply devoted to the country he served and loved.
Wolf served 17 years in the United States Army, carrying out his duties with honor, patriotism, and unwavering dedication. After leaving the military, he spent nearly two decades driving trucks and later became the Safety Director for Hornady Transportation, a role he took great pride in. His loyalty, hard work, and commitment touched everyone who crossed his path.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathy Lindh, and his father, Manfred Graf. Wolf is survived by his loving wife, Debra; his son, Rudy; his grandchildren—Emily, Sunshine, Cheyanne, and Kyla; his sister, Vicky; and his niece and nephew, Britni and Brandon. He also leaves behind his treasured fur babies, who stayed faithfully by his side and brought him comfort and companionship.
Those who knew Wolf will remember his strength, his steady presence, his dry humor, and the deep love he held for his family. He often worried about leaving behind a meaningful legacy, but his family knows he succeeded—his life was marked by service, devotion, and a heart that loved fiercely.
It brings peace to imagine him now at the cabin in the woods he dreamed of—quiet, beside a lake, fishing in the stillness he longed for. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him, especially Debra, who wishes every day for one more moment beside him.
Wolf’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
