Yvonne R. Amerson, 60 of Seale, Alabama passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 11, 2015. The family will receive friends Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Girard Room at Striffler-Hamby, Phenix City, AL from 6:00 P.M until 8:00 P.M. The family requests that guests wear casual attire.
Yvonne was a retired elementary school teacher and taught for 25 years. She was preceded in death by her father, Saxton L. Raines and her mother, Hedy Immel Raines.
She is survived by her husband, James Dale Amerson of Seale, AL and her sister, Susie Morgan (Tim) of Cottonton, AL.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to caregivers, Bertha Brown, Sanya Everhart, Cynthia Hicks and the nurses and caregivers with Gentiva Hospice of Alabama.
