Delores Adams

Delores was preceded in death by both of her parents Eulyse and Della Mae Blair, her son, Kenneth Charles, grandson, Michael Anthony Cole and brother, Eulyse Blair, and is survived by her husband, Melvin Jay of 62 years; her children: Melvin Jay, Jr, (his wife, Jamie), and Beverly Schulke (her husband, Eric); Her sister, Evie Maxine Robertson; as well as her grandchildren, Steven Schulke, Jessica Shawcroft (her husband, Lynn), and Matthew Schulke (his husband, Rex); and great grandchildren; Kaydence Shawcroft, Maddison Shawcroft, James Dean Shawcroft, and Chelsea Shawcroft.

Delores grew up in Memphis, Tennessee, married a U. S. Marine and traveled the United States living in many states. She enjoyed motorcycle riding, hiking, amusement parks, national parks, camping, fishing, sports, traveling and being with her family. Delores was a Sunday school teacher, cub scout leader, girl scout leader, and compassionate service leader at church throughout the years.

Delores will be missed by all that knew her and will forever be in our hearts.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 1221 W Howe St, Tempe, AZ 85281, with a viewing at 9:00AM. Burial service will be at 11:45AM at Resthaven/Carr-Tenny Mortuary & Memorial Gardens, 4310 E. Southern Ave., Phoenix, AZ 85042.
