Flora Mae Burt James was born to Winford and Ozaree Davis Burt on January 10th, 1943 in Tollette, Arkansas. She was the third of 6 children. She met and married the Love of her life James Pennington Sr. on November 13th, 1959 in Phoenix Arizona to this union were 6 children Jarvis, James Jr, Cynthia, Jeffery, Betty, and Darrell. Flora's Son James Jr and daughter Cynthia and parents Winford and Ozaree, three Brothers William (Bobby) Burt, Glenn Burt, Melvin Burt and sister Dorothy Burt all preceded her in death.
Flora divorced James Pennington in 1969 and married Charles James in 1973 in Las Vegas and to that union Keisha James Shelling was born.
She leaves to cherish her memory Daughters Betty Pennington, Keisha Shelling and sons Jarvis, Jeffery, and Darrell Pennington three Sisters Betty McGruder Jones, Debbie Hollis, Darlene Tuner(Kenny) Two Brothers John Burt(Tina) and Richard Burt Owens(Dawn) 30 GrandChildren and a Host of Great Great Grandchildren as well as a host of Nieces.
