Born in Baltimore Maryland on May 1, 1921. She and her husband came to Phoenix in 1957 to raise their family. She is preceded in death by her husband Raymond L. Le Duc Sr. Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by 3 sons: Raymond Jr., Brian and Timothy Sr. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. She worked as a secretary for The Department of Defense and retired in her 70’s. Never one to sit and be idle, she was always busy. Her passion was swimming, which she enjoyed into her 80’s. She delighted in her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and taught many to swim. She always had an open door and you were sure to be offered food if you dropped by to visit. As the saying goes she “never met a stranger” and would always strike up conversation and gain a new friend. She loved to talk. She never had wants, and her needs were simple; shelter, food, and most importantly Love of Family. Gladys lived a Godly life and we know the Lord has welcomed her with open arms. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Park Mortuary, 4310 E. Southern Ave. Phx, AZ. on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 from 5-7pm. Funeral Service will be held at King of Glory Lutheran Church, 2085 E. Southern Ave. Tempe, AZ. on Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at 11am. Burial Service will be held at Resthaven Park Cemetery on April 30, 2014 at 1:30pm.
