Helen was known for her funny, bubbly personality, her kind soul, and her big heart. She had a rare gift of making everyone feel welcome and cared for, and she was kind to all she met. To her family, she was the best Tía—loving, supportive, and always full of joy. To her sons—Michael Reyes Jr., Anthony Manuel Reyes, and Richard Carlos Corella—she was a deeply devoted and loving mother, whose love and strength shaped their lives.
Helen was a woman of faith and a believer in God, drawing comfort and strength from her spiritual walk. She is now reunited in eternal rest with her sons’ father, Michael Reyes Sr.
She is survived by her sons; her sister Regina; her mother Sylvia; her nieces Nicole, Stephanie, and Brittany; and many extended family members and friends who will forever cherish her memory.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 3, 2025, at Equip Church, followed by burial at Resthaven Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her grandmother, Lucy Paynter.
Helen’s life was a beautiful testament to love, kindness, and faith. Though she is deeply missed, her spirit will remain forever in the hearts of her family.
