James E. Lambert, 95, passed away Monday, October 9, 2017 at 3: 45 pm. He was born in Altoona, PA. on April 3, 1922 to John and Anna Lambert. He was the 10th child of a family of 13 children. He moved to Phoenix in 1986 and later married Darlene Howard. After an extensive military career starting in the Navy in 1941 up to his retirement as Chief Master Sergeant in 1972 from the US Air Force. He fought in World War II, the Korean War and lastly in Vietnam. He is survived by his wife Darlene Lambert; his brother Leo Lambert; two daughters Kelly Jagodzinski of Vanleer, TN, and Terry Pratt (Tom) of Somers, CT; three grandchildren Gavin & Karly from Toledo, OH, Jacquie Lambert from Massachusetts and many friends and relatives in Altoona and Tyrone PA. James E. Lambert will be together again with his son James E. Lambert Jr. in heaven. A memorial service for Chief James E. Lambert will be held on Wednesday, October 25th 2017 from 3:00 to 5:00 pm at The Meadows Club House, 2401 W Southern Ave,Tempe, Arizona.
