Joe P. Warner, 87, passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022, in Phoenix, Arizona. On March 23, 1935, Joe was born to Manuel and Estanislada Warner in San Patricio, New Mexico, who both preceded him in death. He married Minnie Garcia Warner who survives him on February 16, 1960 in Roswell, New Mexico. Joe was a faithful member all of his life at the following Churches: First Spanish Assembly of God Church, Roswell, New Mexico where he served as deacon; Selah Ministries and Way of Life Church in Phoenix Arizona. He was a father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle who loved spending time with his loved ones. Joe was a truck driver who owned and operated his own trucking company until his retirement. He will be missed dearly by his family, church friends, and all who had the honor to have known him.
Siblings that preceded him in death: Urbano Warner, Eva Jane and husband Lupe Estrada, Anna Lee W. and husband Manuel Hernandez. He is survived by his youngest sister Nellie W. and husband Philip Sosa. Those left with memories are his children: Joe G. and his wife San Juanita Warner, Caroline and her husband Rev. Burke Jon Montoya; Grandchildren Mikel Joseph Warner, Jeremiah Dominique and wife Kelly Warner, Matthew James Warner, Kassi Rachelle and her husband Edgar Amador, Katherine Janae Montoya, Joseph Jon Warner, Lucas Jon Montoya, Elisabeth Kate Warner. Great grandchildren: Caleb Ayden Amador, Edgar Reyes Amador Jr, Andrew Jeremiah Warner, Owen Jon Medina, James Roman Warner, Emma Caroline Amador, Taya Marie Warner, and Olivia Victoria Warner.
Joe had many nephews and nieces that loved and respected him. Jimmy Estrada preceded him in death. He is survived by Rachel Aguilar, Virginia Cardona, Diane Hernandez, Tony Hernandez, Ernie Hernandez, Sally Cartier, Johnny Hernandez, Urbano Sosa, Patricia Garcia, Cissy Sosa and Felipe Sosa.
